About Us

We the members of St Basil Palliative Home Care Promoters intend to reach the vulnerable community and address the pressing psychosocial, physical and emotional health problems by creating a palliative care service that enable patients to access friendly healthcare that is befitting, and provide psychosocial healing.

We recognize and pursue strong desire to establish a firm healthcare service through the design and implementation of desired and realistic homecare services that are focused to the paralysis, HIV/AIDS and other chronic and non-communicable diseases within the society.

In pursuance, therefore, of our noble objectives and vision to contribute towards medical, spiritual, and psychosocial services to the community affected by life limiting illnesses such as paralysis, HIV/AIDS, cancer, diabetes, to live a dignified and happier life, we do hereby declare to form a local Faith-based Community Organization (FBO) known as ST BASIL PALLIATIVE HOME CARE PROMOTION

We are committed to, and governed by the objectives, principles, codes of conduct and operations mandated by this constitution which serves as the supreme authority and legal source of reference binding all the respective members, affiliates and partners.

We further wish to pledge our support and compliance to the Laws governing the operations of Non-Governmental Organizations in Uganda and the world at large, to re-affirm our humanitarian commitments to honestly address the empirical needs of our target communities in the areas of Health, Education, Gender issues, appropriate technology, Relief, Rehabilitation, Skills promotion, Human rights and small business promotion.
